Tunisia Continues to Welcome Pilgrims and Coexistence

Good afternoon!

Today's blog features a lovely article that states that Tunisia will continue to be a country open to pilgrimage and to the coexistence of religions. Celebrations and traditions organized every year on the 33 days after Passover occur at the ancient Ghriba synagogue in Tunisia.

The article states, "One of the legends claims that the Ghriba synagogue dates back to the destruction of the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem, when some Jews fleeing Palestine took refuge in Djerba in 586 BC."

Over 2,500 Jewish pilgrims visit this site every year and will continue to be welcomed. To learn more, please read the full article HERE
